Backpack for Kids.
HCE Club 51 is a proud sponsor and donor to the Backpack For Kids organization in the Nekoosa School District. The backpacks are filled with nutritious food for children for the weekend. The backpacks are then returned on Monday to be filled again the following Friday. During the “Safer At Home” put into effect during the coronavirus pandemic, the backpacks are delivered and then picked up on Monday.
