What Is Families Branching Out?

Families Branching Out (FBO) was created in 2022 to provide a free, multi-generational family-friendly event for everyone. There is no charge to attend and there is no solicitation or selling. FBO is a hands-on community expo which aims to strengthen families and provide useful community resource information. In addition, FBO aims to:
- Cultivate a “learn • share • care” mindset
- engage the community
- encourage volunteerism
- model “learn by doing”
- promote HCE in the community
- have hands-on educational and fun activities for all generations
Everyone can participate in make ‘n take activities, maybe have their vision screened, register their child’s ID, or learn about resources in the community.

Everyone can participate in make ‘n take activities, maybe have their vision screened, register their child’s ID, learn about the Kenosha Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit, read a book and learn about resources in the community.
Planning for 2026 has begun. The event will be held Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the Kenosha County Center, Bristol, WI.
