Our County organization consists of 8 active clubs. The officers meet four times a year at the Executive Board Meetings, which includes all the clubs presidents, besides county officers.   These minutes are sent out to the various clubs to be read at their meetings because we have no office in the Extension building to do any mailings for our group. This is the only way to communicate with the various clubs.

The Grace Alberts Scholarship is open to all active Marathon County Association for Home and Community Education members (MCHCE) and immediate family members or current Marathon County 4H members. (For HCE this includes members, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews of active HCE members).

Saturday April 18, 2026, 8:15 am to 3 pm at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 930 Edgewood Road Wausau, Wisconsin
Fee: $45.00 per person (includes 3 projects to take home and a Loaded Mashed Potato Bar lunch)
Special 4-H rate per family, up to three people $55.00. 4-H member must be 12 years old to participate.
Registration ends April 1, 2026. Open to the public.
